Not everything that glitters is gold

The bothering idea of living at 7 miles from the entrance of Five fallen stars hill, a little quiet and peaceful town situated under high peaks and surrounded by the fresh smell of woods, had turned into a maddening and boring habit that teenagers hate lately. I used to get up early and watch through the window, how life happened for everyone in the Neiborhood. This kind of hobby had been a naive and funny activity for an eight-year-old boy who used to find fun by laughing of his neibors, like watching Mr. Hoffman dancing and singing with that horrible voice “never say goodbye”, a song of Bon Jovi while he is sweeping his part of the sidewalk every Sunday morning at 10 o’clock and even watching Mrs. Livinstone a grey-haired old woman, who knocks our door with her walking stick only to borrow some sugar every afternoon, seven days a week. All those things seemed interesting and cool for me all these years, and literally it had been a custom to have fun in this way, which had become in a slow torture for a teenager, who have realized how boring can be, living in a depressive and quiet town where anything interesting happens.
But one night, my parents and I were driving back home after a beautiful camping day, when I saw through the window, how the sky was covered by darkness and a cold breeze that would soon had become into a blinding mist which gave me goosebumps. Suddenly, we heard a smashing crash and a weak voice asking for help –“somebody help us please!”- a woman cried out; I saw my mother’s face, and she was paralyzed and worried at the same time my dad stopped driving and went out of the car. So, my mom asked me to stay there and she went after him, I could watch how their silhouettes were vanishing on that strange fog, in all of a sudden, the voices I could hear were gone and I found myself completely alone in the car. I did what my mom said to me, and I waited there for almost an hour while I was trying to stare at what was happening outside, but I couldn´t even see anything around.  A couple of minutes later my skin bristled after seen a mysterious glow that came up deep in the forest, so I got my courage up and got out of the car. I took the same direction as my parents did; I was looking for the car that crashed forward us, and I found it, and it was there but there was no one inside, -“and my parents?”- I wondered. Suddenly, the glow in the farness captured my attention and I walked upon it, I thought about the minimal possibility that my parents and the people of the other car were there maybe, the closer I walked upon, it seemed to be alive, and I got a strange clangorous feeling about this thing; It was fear and coldness that possessed my body and it didn’t even let me breath, and the first heartbeat I had was running away, so I did it. I couldn’t see anything around but the hunting light that was following me; it was trying to chase me, and it was coming closer and closer, so I hurried up and I didn’t look behind. Somehow, I realized that I was lost in the rustling woods, and I was freaked out; I didn’t know where I was, but I didn’t stop and continued running. The only thing in my head was running away from that unknown resplendent radiance, anyhow, I knew I was nearer the town and I thought that maybe if I would run faster I would find the way out from the woods and ask for somebody’s help. I was thirteen minutes running without stopping, until I felt a crude pain in my feet; Guess, I had tripped over with the roots of an enormous tree, and the last thing I remember was the painful wallop in my head.
The first thing I saw when I opened my eyes was a warm radiant light which was no more than a brilliant sunny day, rapidly, I realized that I was wearing my pajamas and I was in my bed. So, I guessed all those things that have happened to me the night before could be only a nightmare. Suddenly, a delicate voice called me – Josh, - “Breakfast is ready!”, “C’mon, today we have our camping day honey!”- then I got up faster and went to the dining room, and my parents were there like if nothing had happened to them. My dad was having breakfast, when my mom asked me concerned about the wound on my face, so I didn’t know what to say, and I was so much confused already, I was afraid that the bad dream were real, anyway I went into the washroom frightened and scared about it, and I stared at myself  on the mirror, and it was there, the wound was real, and there was red blood running down my forehead, and I startled realized that my hands were dirty with mud too, and the creepy voice in my head told me that something wasn’t right, and I remembered everything in a second -“Oh, my gosh!”- I yelled.
